Description

A fantastic opportunity has become available in our Customer Service department in Auckland for an enthusiastic individual to join the busy team. Reporting to the Customer Service & Import Sales Supervisor, the Export Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible to:

• Facilitate the receipt, acceptance and confirmation of export sea freight bookings received from customers via e-mail, telephone or through the e-commerce platforms and provide professional and personal service to the customer.
• Ensure that the commercial interests and shipment requirements of CMA CGM are held as highest priority.
• Actively assist the sales team in promoting the CMA CGM name and promoting additional service options to the customers.
• Build strong business relationships with key clients.

The suitable candidate would have the following attributes-

• Good understanding of all aspects of the shipping and/or transport industry
• Strong administration skills
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent communications skills - both written and verbal
• Able to solve problems and make decisions
• Customer oriented approach
• Good team player
• Good telephone technique
• Ability to meet deadlines and work unsupervised
