The Role

Working in our groovy Auckland CBD campus building, this is an exciting opportunity to use your skills in game art to guide students through our Creative Technologies programs. Using your industry knowledge you will develop learning resources, provide constructive feedback to students and inspire them to become the best professionals they can be!

You will be responsible for:

Preparation and delivery of learning and assessment materials on-line and face-to-face;
Providing innovative learning environments for students to meet learning outcomes;
Participating in course review initiatives, moderation and course development;
Provide on-going student support.
Your background

Passionate about teaching and making games, you will be an experienced game art professional, preferably with previous teaching experience in face-to-face and online environments.

You will have:

Recent experience in the games industry; preferably with 2 or more shipped titles
Demonstrated ability to work within a professional, motivated team;
A passion for educating the game artists of tomorrow;
Ability to engage, guide and inspire all levels of students;
Bonus:

Having research interests in emerging technologies (AR/VR/MR)
Active member of the worldwide games community
