Job Description

The Pacific Area Information and Communication Services Department is seeking to appoint a Technical Support Representative. This is a permanent full-time position based at the Pacific Area Office in Takapuna, New Zealand. Employment with the Church provides not only an amazing sense of purpose, but opportunities for great personal growth, both spiritually and professionally, as you give your best efforts to the Lord. If you are inspired by the prospect of being surrounded by people who share the same values as you do, thrive on providing excellent customer service, and are looking for an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills in information technology, submit your application today!

As a Technical Support Representative, you will provide information and communication services and leadership that enable the Church to hasten the work. You will achieve this by providing standard support services for approved technologies and customers; identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems; and responding promptly and courteously to telephone calls, email, Global Service Center tickets and personnel requests for technical support. Duties will also include performing basic system management and routine security administration tasks. Patience and creativity will be required as you assist customers with simple training needs and ensure all information technology needs are met.

Is experienced in providing computer and IT equipment support (PCs, hardware, software, network and desktop applications)
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desires to provide extraordinary customer service and individually resolve problems
Possesses the ability to provide training and remote support
Desires to exceed their manager’s expectations
Hungers to learn and develop both technically and professionally
Posting Notice/More Info.
