Tasks: Join us as a Service Sales Engineer and you’ll be able to bring your technical knowledge to our team based at the Auckland Service Centre in Mt Wellington, Auckland. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers who require service support on their installed base of variable speed drives, power quality and switchgear equipment. A major part of your role will be identifying and quoting maintenance and upgrade options, for end users and applications across a variety of industry segments such as food & beverage, pulp & paper, metals, power generation and manufacturing. You’ll appreciate that your well-honed problem solving skills can be put to use in an environment where priorities and circumstances are constantly changing. Reporting to the Service Manager you will be responsible for: - Providing quotations and proposals to customers - Preparation of technical documentation to support ABB proposals. - Assist senior staff in final documentation and costing's for larger projects. - Tracking of orders, deliveries and completion of jobs - Monitoring and tracking of project tasks - Phone/email based customer service and sales. Requirements: Ideally you will be tertiary qualified and/or have a qualification in NZCE or equivalent. You have come from a technical customer service environment and enjoy building relationships with an existing customer base. You also have a high level of comfort using the MS Office Suite and office systems.
