Auckland District Health Board (Auckland DHB) is one of the largest tertiary public healthcare provider within New Zealand. We have a large, modern state of the art perioperative department covering various specialities within 5 different areas, each having their own operating theatres and PACU services.

Our Paediatric Operating Theatres at Starship Children's Health provide acute and elective procedures in the paediatric specialties of General, Urology, Endoscopy, Oncology, ORL, Dental, Minor Neuro, Orthopaedics, Plastics and Cardiac. We look after babies and children up to 15 years of age from the greater Auckland region and the South Pacific. Our roles
We are looking for skilled and enthusiastic Theatre Nurses who have an interest in Paediatrics. We have permanent positions available and also have fixed term positions available to cover staff parental leave. In this role, you will be working rostered hours, Monday to Sunday with some on call.

About you
You will have at least 4 years recent theatre nursing experience within a large tertiary hospital preferably in New Zealand. You will have the ability to interact with members of a multidisciplinary theatre team and will have a positive attitude, an innovative and adaptable approach to practice, excellent communication skills and a real commitment to working in this area of nursing.
